Saturday 24th June 2017 - 'The Phil at 50: Feeling Good' at The Winding Wheel

Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir brought its 50th season to a climax with the choir in relaxed mood featuring songs by Fats Waller, Cole Porter and George Gershwin and arrangements of well -known favourites by John Rutter and Bob Chilcott.

The concert was performed with cabaret style seating and the soloists were Soprano - Rachel Abbott (from RNCM) and Tenor -David Heathcote, with piano accompaniment by Tim Kennedy. The conductor and compere for the evening was Steven Roberts.
