How to join.
You might want to attend one of our concerts to 'check us out' before your join or you might have attended one of our Choral Days. You can simply come along and join us at one of our weekly practice sessions.
Look in the Diary Page to find a suitable rehearsal day, or a concert that you want to attend.
Just turn up and see our Membership Secretary, or any member of the Committee. We will be very happy to welcome you as a new member.

Fees
The annual fee is £150.00 for working members, for pensioners £120.00, payable after the Annual General Meeting in October. This includes a £35 tuition fee. Wherever members are tax payers we ask them to consider ‘gift aiding’ their membership fee.
Full-time students and unemployed are asked to pay the £35 tuition fee as a minimum. In cases of financial difficulty a reduced fee can be negotiated.
Auditions
Ability to read music is an advantage and members will be expected to be able to pitch the notes of the scale. New members might be asked to give an audition with the musical director who will establish the range of your voice and assign you to a suitable section of the choir.
Sheet Music
Most of our sheet music is provided on loan by the choir but we occasionally buy sheet music to keep individually and sometimes we pay a hire fee.
Concert Dress
Gentlemen wear black evening suit with white shirt and black bow tie.
Ladies will be expected to purchase the black uniform dress (Speak to Lynda Mitchell) black/dark tights, scarf and black court shoes (no open toe sandals). Small items of non sparkling jewellery are acceptable.
